The study will provide data and information on specific issues related to the society. There are various types of different issues faced by apple and Samsung. Both companies faced the problems as being a part of different country or industry. Every country tries to achieve success by applying various types of approaches to improve the quality so that they can become the leading company. The values of the companies according to the various aspects like social norms, corporate social responsibility, etc. will also be mentioned (Matten, Moon, 2008). At last, there will recommendations and conclusion on the present report to sum up the entire study. In the year 2011, the Samsung Company became the market leaders for the very first time and it ranked as the 20% global share while the company apple ranked 19 %. Both primary and secondary data were chosen to find and gather the data that are used to analyses and evaluate the result. The primary data is collected form the questionnaire and the secondary data were collected through articles, internet, published materials, etc. Identification and description of the companies that are apple and Samsung that has been researched in this research Apple Inc. is an American based company that was founded on 3rd January 1977. The owner of this company is Steve jobs, Ronald Wayne and Steve Woznaik. The company is headquartered in Cupertino, California. The company is originally known as Apple computer Inc. which is a multinational corporation. There are various types of products come under this company like iPod, iPhone, tablet based iPad. The products of this company are modern, elegant and stylish (Campbell, 2007). Samsung telecoms is also one other major company which is a part of Samsung group. It is also a multinational corporation which comprises of computer tablet department, cellular communication department, cellular solution center, and research and development center for the telecommunication. There are various products produce by this company like smart phones, laptops, home appliances, MP3 player, computer tablet, telecom network infrastructure, etc. This company is worlds largest supplier of televisions (Vaaland, Heide, Grnhaug, 2008). The company is one of the oldest companies as it is working since 1969 and till the current date, it is functioning and bringing new innovation. This is due to the fact that the company wants to become the leading company of telecommunication industry of the entire world (Lee, 2008). These both companies are the market leaders of smart phones and tablet industry. Many times, there are issues arisen related to the patent and designs as apple and Samsung are the close competitors. The corporate social responsibility of the present companies that is apple and Samsung shows that they both are changing their strategies and policies related to the social activities. It can be analyzed by the corporate social responsibility reports, sustainability reports, annual report, etc. Apple Australia and Samsung India belong to same industry yet different companies as they both have faced different types of social obligations. Both the companies are trying hard to survive in the competition by bringing sustainability in the business organizations. The present research is conducted on these companies will help to analyze about the same (Lyon, Maxwell, 2008). They want to grab the sales and profits by capturing the market and customers of India by selling smart phones of lower price as compared to Apple. The market of Samsung is still growing but now the company has started focusing on the better services. The company has employed many employees that are 12000 research engineers, 45000 employees for the production units in Indian markets, etc. so that the demand for the product can be fulfilled (Barnett, 2007). The focus of the company is more on the development of products and procedures. They are also trying to focus on the welfare, up gradation and entire working of the company. Now they are putting their concentration in each and every condition faced by them in the future. There is a direct and indirect relation to the education and the growth and development of the companies like apple and Samsung. The availability of employees that are suitable for the company can be found only when the education system of the country is very good.
